It's one of those moments that Regular Show has a significant sense of bathos, since it's ridiculous looking but at the same time has a bit of a sad background, considering that Mordecai just wiped Rigby out of existence a few moments before. One with a dark sense of humor would find that amusing, I suppose, but I can't help but look at it and be bummed a little.

This sentence applies to most of the show, to be honest. Especially Season One, where the show kinda had a bit of a cut-and-paste "rising-weirdness-up-to-the-9-minute-mark-and-then-back-down-for-the-other-2" formula.
Over time that got less obvious though, albeit whether or not that's from the audience getting used to the show or from a shake-up of the formula depends on the episode.

Suburbs can have their appeal to me, but they have to be older suburbs. Suburbs that have had a few decades to age and build some character.
The kind of suburbs I despise are sprawling new suburbs, where we must remodel the grocery stores every ten years and all the houses have to be new-builds. Nothing about it feels "real" to me...

2012 has been one hell of a hectic year for me, so I had been looking forward to Christmastime to watch the year finally end
But now that it's actually here it seems like it's passing by too fast for me to appreciate it
