Remember back in the 50s when they'd record like Elvis singing YOU AIN'T NOTHIN BUT A HOUND DOG and then they'd turn the record over and reverse it and it was all NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP and people were all like, "That is actually the voice of Satan coming from that song."
So. Started reading the new Wimpy Kid book after it's been out for a month.
I guess I fell off the train after The Ugly Truth (book 5) disappointed me, but the 7th one is actually pretty hilarious so far. Sixth one was alright.
The most useful part of him was that he allowed me to gain Lamia's Tiara early, which in turn made the Dancer 10 times more viable for all of the second world.
And if I had any of the "heavy" classes, I would have been able to steal the incredibly potent Genji gear.
Not to mention the fact that he allowed instant running, and complete immunity to back attacks. Useless in an actual fight, but invaluable when it comes to support.

I think I'm over my "bored with suburbia" feeling
It was induced by my trip to Michigan and the Century 16 shooting, but those are far enough in the past that I've mostly quit thinking about them...that shooting should never have happened, though
From what I understand the only difference is that they fixed some bugs. For example, the Kiss of Blessing chemist mix no longer overrides Exdeath's transformation into Neo Exdeath.
They also added 4 additional job classes, but those are banned for the purposes of the Fiesta.

I am drawing pictures of aspens and songbirds for a hypothetical children's book. I am once again confirming to myself why I'm not pursuing the career path of illustrator of any kind.

Sometimes I practice with fairly simple-looking/geometric things.
I drew Buttercup a couple of months ago but I forgot the part in her hair >_<
Ugh, stupid self, when are you ever going to finish that octagonal slab serif you've had in mind for almost four years now
I wish it were easier to find more samples of the genuine athletic lettering it references (the idea was lent to me by Acropolis and United, the latter of which has just about all you could ask for from an octagonal superfamily but I wanted to do my own take on it. Ironically, despite coming from military lettering, United looks enough like athletic lettering that it is often used in such a context).

I would probably be better if I had the time and willingness of effort to learn the proper figures and proportions of things. Alas, I lack both.
Also, why have I been itching to do Digimon-related stuff lately? That is not the correct monster battling franchise. :P

^^A villain from your Paper Mario/MLP crossover, I'm guessing? Regardless, the mental image of an evil Nu Mou Black Mage with a somewhat scatological name is oddly amusing.

Yes, he's Intestine-Ripper's second-in-command, an evil magician in a red robe and hat who employs several flunkies in idiotic armadillos and porcupines along with various other, experimented-on animals, most of which serve as bosses or minibosses.
Speaking of money, I listened to "It's All About the Benjamins" earlier, and it's surprising how not dated it is, considering that it came out in 1999.
