People, if there is one thing I can disagree with all of you is that Nintendo should continue doing what it does best: being exclusive.
This is NOT a great model of business whatsoever. All of Nintendo's franchises were designed to be a one-way investment street, in that other people should develop for them and their consoles, and not the other way around. And it is for this exact reason, Nintendo feels justified to waste resources in making multiple platforms just to be 'special' and 'exclusive'. Running out of new game ideas? No worries, just launch a new platform.
I definitely do not see WHY should this practice go unabated. They should make games for other machines to be fair and stop wasting the world's resources in making new platforms just to promote their aged and rather trite franchises. -> The only way to legally play a Nintendo game, is through a Nintendo platform. <- This should be changed.

Translation: Why can't I play New Super Mario Bros on my PSP? I mean, everybody knows that Nintendo's just pioneering new/underused technology like Wiimotes and glasses-free 3D to make people buy more Mario Party sequels (not to say that there are way too many Mario Party sequels; one per game system should be enough)
In my mind one of the Wii U's biggest pros is the adoption of high-definition graphics.
Looking back it puzzles me why they didn't equip the Wii to render them.
Technically, the Wii is capable of hi-def, just at the lowest possible resolution (480p.) Aside from that, it wouldn't have cost Nintendo that much more to include the capability of, say, 720p but they correctly guessed that this sort of thing wasn't critical at all to the console's success and shaved it off as a cost-cutting measure.
I think Nintendo's thing is that the concentrate more on making good games than good consoles, at least they do nowadays, I dunno how it was back in the day.
Your opinions will vary as to whether or not this a good thing.
Personally I think that Nintendo makes some absolutely awesome stuff, but third-parties don't take proper advantage.
I mean, some really cool stuff could have been done with the Wii because of the motion controls, but a lot of third parties didn't bother, and I fear the same will happen with the Wii U.

Super Paper Mario started development for the GameCube but was moved to the Wii, and as such they shoved in the motion controls in all kinds of places (some of the items required them to work properly and having to shake the thing made the Cherbils and Ice Cherbils more annoying).
I don't like really really desperately want one like she did (*like she's been asking for years*), but my current mp3 player is a piece of crap and that iPod touch is so pretty and it also has a calender app and geez i really need one of those
I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm way happy for her and stuff.

Complex used to be a good magazine. Today they, or at least their website, mostly just bitch about Mac Miller.
