...I made the mistake of making the Ubuntu partition (E: here) bigger because I thought I would use Ubuntu more often and keep all my stuff there.
And I did, but lately I've been using Windows much more and it's a pain, in part because I can't write to the Ubuntu partition and I've basically ended up keeping two separate Home folders... >_<

It's a two-CD set, so I'll toss both of them up. One contains a shitload of fonts, nothing new I'm sure, but it also contains clipart and a lot of the clipart is traffic signage so that'll go up too

well don't get too excited, mind you this is ancient technology here. Talking 1998 era software. The minimum requirements here are 16MB of RAM and 100MB of hard drive space.
However, if you simply need a fully-functional word processor, this will get the job done. I few weeks ago I had a discussion with a friend of mine who's been a Photoshop guru since like version 2.0 and we were talking about content-aware fill and the conversation steered back to how everything we use it for now can still be handled by version 4.0. For laughs we pulled it up and the entire install -- talking the entire 32-bit install of Photoshop 4.0 complete with filters and plugins -- weighed in at 10MB. And it's still just as functional.

Basically I want something that I can use for writing, with a little bit of basic formatting like bold and italics, but without all the extra guff like mass mailing wizards and things that pester you to log into your Hotmail account and annoying paperclips that try to writer letters for you.

I'd wanted to bring back their old constellation logo but...its position is not authoritative. I'm hoping my lion rampant wouldn't look too much like a sports logo...I want to keep it simple.
