I wish I lived somewhere where I could walk places
in my university town you canliterally walk from anywhere in the town to anywhere else in the town in v short period of time. its not a huge town. the uni itself is out of town and its only about an hours walk if you want to walk. its not as big as london but not having any public transport wastelands (or even need for public transport) is cool
even if you want a leisure activity pretty much the main thing to do is to head into the Lakes, and, er, walk. up mountains. and stare at scenery. 's okay.

8 months ago I thought by this point my mother would have sent my dad packing and it would be just the four of us living in Whitehall. I was willing to stay because I figured with her disability she'd need me around.
