Not because of the gameplay, the gameplay is fine. Fun, even. Or it would be if the game did not insist on being generic hipstershit.
Seriously how many flash games can there fucking be that are 1) in monochrome 2) have a vaguely sad story "told" to you through floating text and 3) have a generic "sad" piano loop as the background music?
This one actually has alright graphics (that is, graphics that aren't "box" and "larger box") but again with the monochrome and fucking piano. The audio is stellar before the deafening piano kicks in. It's creepy, it's shuffly, and it's a wee bit unsettling.
But we can't leave well enough alone, we have to bring in the DUH NUH DUH NUH DUH NUH don't we?
I recommend playing this game while muted and listening to your favorite creepy album. Because it seems to be an alright game otherwise.

@Bit counts: It's hilarious to me how often marketers will try to reduce something's performance (and thus its relative worth) to a number, but even more hilarious how often people actually fall for it. The bit wars are the obvious thing, but also look at modern computers (how many cores???) and digital cameras (how many megapixels??).
@Forgotten '90s mascots: It's disappointing to me that Crash Bandicoot tends to be forgotten even in conversations about forgotten mascots. I suppose this is due, in part, to the fact that he came along a few years later (PlayStation era).

I'm here.
I am obsessed with Miramax and possibly its founders now. The fact that Disney ever owned Miramax is strange to me; for most of the time they did it had more autonomy from the company's management than any other division of the company (though Disney did tell Miramax not to release Kids, Dogma, and Fahrenheit 9/11, though the rights to Kids appear to have reverted to Miramax) and most of its offerings were rather inconsistent with Disney's brand or even Touchstone's...
i wish to come up with a song lyric for this signature, but no song lyrics are coming to mind
Judging from this post which is probably from Michael Kirkbride, Bethesda's favorite ex-writer, Redoran is gone.http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1361197-pentannual-census-of-the-houses-of-morrowind-post-red-year-4e-166/"Great House Redoran’s bloodlines are cut, and their holds are unmade by transliminal invasion, lunar impact, Lorkhanic pyroclasm or amphibian uprising. In honorary obeisance to the formulary for their past service: REMEMBER REDORAN NEVER FORGET. By order of the Council, their ghosts are held in trust amidst the bonestocks of Jaroon (of which more subsequently) until such a time as hypothetical claimants-by-blood are uncovered to make the appropriate obeisances, and reinstate the privileges flowing from such."Also, new DLC looks pretty decent at first look. At the very least, it'll have better environments than the vanilla game and Dawnguard. Might get it if it's as good as Fallout New Vegas DLC or at least The Pitt from Fallout 3.
The Endless Library of Apocrypha means infinitely tall book staircases!Oh wait, this is Skyrim.
"See that stack of books? You can't climb them."
We aren't sure who wrote that. I don't think it was Kirkbride, either.
Wait... what? Were does it say that Apocrypha has infinitely tall stacks.
Reads like his style. And there's that reference to the Trial of Vivec, in which MK took the role of Vivec, in which Vivec pretty much kicked the shit out of Azura and cursed her to limit her influence on Nirn.EDIT: Guess it's a fan effort. God damn great fan effort though. Shame none of it will be used in Dragonborn.
Remember back in the 50s when they'd record like Elvis singing YOU AIN'T NOTHIN BUT A HOUND DOG and then they'd turn the record over and reverse it and it was all NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP and people were all like, "That is actually the voice of Satan coming from that song."
Speaking of hobo lawyers, has anyone else heard about the new Ace Attorney game that's in the works? Basically, Phoenix got his badge back, and now he's going to be a mentor to someone with a new magical lawyer superpower. Also, the first case seems to not be a murder for once.

Also, they pretty much only exist here or on my hard-drive. I'm not sure I'm ready to take the plunge into fandom land where half the time the trolls have two sets of genitals and one set is always prehensile.

...I should've been able to guess that Naney would like Nepeta.

I like her, but she isn't one of my favorite characters.
I think fan works like Nepeta Quest and Be the Seadweller Lowblood have probably done better with her than Hussie, but it's not like Hussie INTENDED to do much with her, so he can hardly be blamed for that.

aren't all the characters in homestuck expendable though?
from my understanding they are all dead now multiple times
Yes.
Though, given how death works in Homestuck it seems like one can't really say that Hussie has actually killed off anyone, despite his sordid reputation.

I actually want a record player, but don't have the money for one.
Other news: This is a horrible game.
Not because of the gameplay, the gameplay is fine. Fun, even. Or it would be if the game did not insist on being generic hipstershit.

Y'know this is actually the only Metroid game I've played all the way through and.......it's actually pretty creepy
