What that chart doesn't take into consideration is, of course, the cultural homogeneity which makes it really easy for a nation like Japan to look the other way when it comes to women being hired simply as office decorations and everyone lower on the ladder to simply keep quiet about it
Also adding traffic fatalities to that chart. I guess the fact that hardly anyone in Japan can afford a car or even afford a place to simply park one is factored in, or the fact that Japan has less than 5k miles in actual highway for the entire nation

Not that that's a bad thing; most of the latter's charts have a lot of artificial difficulty added, at least in post-Harmonix games.

i mean it seems ridiculous for everyone in a country to be overweight but 80% of males and 76% of females? really? seriously? is that true? because its fucking mindblowing, youre really not so far off having literally everyone in your country become fat
that said its also placed this country at above 50% which doesnt seem right from what i see (im looking at you scotland, this is your fault)
at first i was kinda confused by why this site is reasonably busy in the afternoon but like the grave at soon as it gets towards dinnertime, then i realised that that roughly equates to like 10am-11am and all of you have horrendous sleep patterns. like, worse than mine if they go unchecked. which is really something

I have the feeling that it's largely a regional thing. Like, there are certain parts of America in which everyone's ballooining, and those parts are so numerous and so concentrated that it pumps up obesity all the way to the 80th percentile. But, honestly, i don't have a clue.
Bit of Info: I read that Japan has (or had) a law in place that forced companies to keep their employees at a healthy weight. Else, they'd be punished somehow, possibly with fines.
I used to think that there was an easy solution to lowering the obesity rate: tax anyone who's over the obesity line. But, funds for such an adventure would be lacking. That, and would probably be shot down in Congress because Americans have the right to use and abuse their bodies as they wish (as shown by the continuing existence of the tobacco industry)

The 80 on that scale is just for that scale, not a percentage but yes on average American is the fattest nation in the world. The only thing we know how to do is consume. It's certainly not to fight wars because less than 1% of the nation is even attached to the military.
