My internet was out pretty much all day yesterday. The Comcast people think it's because our modem has lost its will to live, so they're replacing it tomorrow evening. In the meantime, I might not be posting very much.
Then, the bus I usually take to school came way earlier than usual, so I missed it. As a result, I have no choice but to skip Physics today. Thankfully, Physics has by far the most lenient attendance policy out of my classes this semester, and all we're doing is reviewing homework problems.
On top of that, I think I'm starting to get sick. I went to bed at 8:30 last night, and I had a little bit of nasal congestion. Perfect timing for that, when I have a crapton of stuff to do before my Conservation Biology trip this weekend.
There, got that out of my system. That all being said, I wish the best of luck to everyone in the path of the upcoming hurricane.

Oh, Christ. I finally got to speak to an actual human being about the job I applied for, and the only interview time they offered me was one I absolutely cannot make. The manager I talked to said I can call and talk to the hiring manager tomorrow to see what times she has available another day, so I'm still going to get to interview one way or another, but this telephone game is seriously starting to grate on me.

I am talking from experience: my parents are dumb, they are proles. They passed on their dumbness onto me, and now I have to live with that. I hate them for it. I am not saying kill all dumb people, but why do they have to reproduce? If I was smart, I could at least do freelance work (programming, translating, etc.) or even become a scientist, working on understanding the universe; instead, I have to work MacDonald's-like jobs. This sucks."
