Sredni: Yeah, the computers themselves are typically very well-made; I actually have Apple IIs at home that still work fine despite being 25 years old, and there are fans of the PowerPC Macs that still use them even though Apple has basically said they no longer exist. (Which leads into a separate rant about forced upgrades and OS X cutting off perfectly decent machines, but I'll resist the urge to go off on that for now.)
They've had issues with outboard power supplies, on and off, for years. The original G3 PowerBooks used a Samsung supply that was prone to many of the same problems as the modern MagSafe ones; it was replaced with the gray UFO power supply, which was a Delta and as for as I know never had any problems. The bricks the Mac Minis use are decent as well, but those are all made by Delta.

No werk tomorrow. /kinda disappointing; I wish I could get more hours, especially when a large chunk of my weekly hours get cut out. So, that means less moneys for me. And also, there's one particularly nice TA I like talking to >.>

Oh well, at least now I can get some extra credit.

For an English class. We're studying Westerns right now so we get to watch Tombstone. It's worth an entire quiz (which is about 10 points). So, the extra credit opportunities are worth going to when I can.

Cool! I've had classes where viewing a film or going to a guest lecture gave us extra credit, but they were usually only worth half a quiz.
