It makes me wonder what Nickelodeon's spirit would be like. I'd probably be as nutty as SpongeBob, and I'd totally ship Carly and that blonde girl whose name I can't remember at the moment. Oh, and I won't be able to remember anything form before 1999. :P
I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
...ooh! ABC Cable Networks/ESPN's roster could come alive!
...god. I don't know what ABC Family would be like. ESPN would be an obnoxious loud macho guy, probably, and A&E would be this depressive individual who never says anything positive (or at the very least, a pessimist/cynical optimist or something) and The History Channel would want to be a lumberjack or something.
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
...My phone can't render whatever characters those are supposed to be. They just show up as blocks.

...I'm gonna go watch ponies now. I've been putting them off long enough.

...So pony bowling alleys do exist, apparently.
I think I had mentioned once before that a certain line from "Art of the Dress" made me picture Rarity working on a Friday night while her friends relax at the bowling alley, but we dismissed the idea of ponies bowling as nonsensical. Also I can't find when/where this conversation actually happened, which is going to drive me insane.

...The musical number from "May the Best Pet Win" is rather long.

...For some reason I imagine that the project to fix the signage at Santa's North Pole campus includes a sign in the train station reading "SOUTHBOUND TRAINS".
In the essay detailing his decisions, the designer comments that such a sign is silly and unnecessary but the client wanted him to include it anyway.

I imagine them as dark red with white lettering, to maintain a "Christmassy" color scheme without being obnoxiously bright or hard to read.
I can't think of what typeface should be used, though.

FHWA series? Interesting.
...Dammit, I'm actually going to want to "design" some of these now.
Also, what's the association of Interstate with Who?

Ah, right. I knew that at some point but I'd forgotten because episodes starting with Matt Smith's run have an entirely different opening credits sequence.
...I wonder how the FHWA type family compares to other signage typefaces when it comes to legibility. The current version of the standard dates to 2000, the major change at the time being the addition of "official" lowercase alphabets for series B through F. (Previously only Series E Modified had a lowercase alphabet.)

Well yeah, but then shouldn't the fact they improved it be a :D ?
The musical notes show up here (Chromium 14 on Debian testing i386), but then, I have all the fonts installed. All of them. Or most of them, anyway.
Thanksgiving dinner was pretty good. My brother made his famous (to us, anyway) risotto, and we also had the usual Thanksgiving stuff (turkey, gravy, stuffing, cranberry-orange relish, mash topatoes [yay random TTA refs], etc). No pie, though, everyone was too full for that.
Also, my granny is here this year, for what I'm pretty sure is the first time since both the incident with my brother in 2009 and us moving into this house in 2010. I'm really hoping this means things are starting to return to normal around here, though I doubt the relationship between my mom and my aunt (the latter bullies the former like actual Vriska does, well, pretty much everyone) will ever improve.

I decided to give it a try. It ended up taking after road signs a bit more than I had originally planned, somehow.

Well I was trying to decide what kind of arrows to use, then you mentioned FHWA Series and I was like "hell, might as well go all the way and use the MUTCD arrows"

Poor The Hub. Its vessel will have to deal with all those hordes of bronies. No, wait, that's Lauren Faust. Silly me thinking in brands. :P

Hallmark Channel is back in the proverbial crosshairs.
I still don't know what to do with it.

Not really. There is nothing I could want.
...that's all I got.
Also, the "Little Birdie" song is awesome.

I'm watching Happiness is a Warm Blanket, Charlie Brown. this pacing is weird.
The idea of ponies doing pretty much anything they do in the show is nonsensical, and yet.
I mean, instead of paleolithic they used the phrase "paleoPONY". Even my random substitutions could never reach that level.
Ayup

...goddammit, I associate Interstate with Doctor Who and, apparently, product packaging now.

Oh wait, this copy of Martha Stewart Living that I should finish reading.
