I am frankly so unambitious that I kind of question if--should the opportunity for some magical adventure unambiguously present itself--I'd actually take it.
See I'm the kind of person who'd worry about whether or not I could count that as a medical leave as far as work's concerned.

THE MUNDANE ADVENTURES OF SUPER LAZULI:
"Fuck you, magic portal wizard, I've got work in a half hour and the rent isn't going to pay itself. This portal to a hellish, screaming dimension better be cleaned up by the time I get back, or there will be hell to pay."

The other day I found myself wanting to solve some kind of mystery.
Is there a context there or is it just "hey look, crazy thing.".
Also I've lately toyed with the idea of trying to start a Flipside RPG here, but we really don't seem to have too many dedicated RPers here, and I kind of suck at GMing things.

I made that Mabel RP blog and then I haven't done anything with it...

Twilight is losing her mind over an almost-overdue letter to Princess Celestia. She's going to manipulate the Cutie Mark Crusaders into being a tool for her letter.

it's weird when i get preoccupied with this kind of thing

So I was thinking...LED traffic lights have relatively low power consumption, right?
What if you added a solar panel to one of the posts? During normal operation, the traffic lights and the signal controller would run off the normal power grid, but if there's a power failure, the solar power kicks in and starts the lights flashing red until the normal controller can be brought back online.

Does that sound feasible at all?
I think you should go to the patent office as soon as possible.

Thirding the attention-span thing. I've had instances where it's taken me two hours to watch a 20-minute Stuart Ashen video because I kept letting myself get distracted.
It doesn't help that I tend to plug myself into everything at once: I can't just watch a video, I have to watch a video while being logged into four IRC channels and an IM with Anonus, and constantly stop to refresh this forum even when I know it's the dead hour.
I think Astro Lounge might've been the first album I ever owned. If not "the" than certainly one of them. My cousin Kiki gave it to me as a birthday present.
In June 2011, a writer at Something Awful offered $20 if the band's lead singer, Steve Harwell, would eat 24 eggs.[8] Others on the site and on Twitter began offering additional sums, eventually targeted to various charities. In July 2011, Harwell accepted the challenge if fans could gather pledges of $10,000 for St. Jude's Children's Hospital.[9][10][11] The fundraising goal was reached in less than a week's time.[12] A self-styled "reality TV fan," Harwell requested that his friend celebrity chef Guy Fieri prepare the eggs.[13] The event was held at Johnny Garlic's restaurant, in Dublin, California on October 11, 2011. With about 150 people attending, Harwell was able to finish the eggs with the help of audience members as well as the San Jose Sharks mascot, Sharkie. $15,000 was raised for charity.[14]

I will forever associate "All Star" with the summer of 1999. That was when my family moved out to our current house in the suburbs.
We didn't have central air, and the only window air conditioner we had was in my parents' room, so the whole family would spend time in there during the day. On especially hot nights, my brother and I would sleep on the floor next to our parents' bed, because it was too unbearably hot to sleep in our own bedrooms.
Sounds unpleasant, but the kind of unpleasant that makes good memories. Does that make sense?
When Smash Mouth were getting heavy radio play, I was quite young. This was long enough ago that my Great-Grandfather (Sheldon The Carpenter, and yes the "The Carpenter" is mandatory, he was really proud of his woodworking, and with good reason) was still alive and still making toys. I hung out with a specific group of cousins too (Rebecca, Jasmine, Horace, Kiki, and Flint, the only of these I really see anymore is Kiki).

I'm going to stop posting until I get into a good college and have a social life and come back and be like "oh, hey there guys, what have you nerds been up to? *sneer*"

Good night Lazuli.
Even though, you know, it's 7 AM in our time zone. :P
Remember back in the 50s when they'd record like Elvis singing YOU AIN'T NOTHIN BUT A HOUND DOG and then they'd turn the record over and reverse it and it was all NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP and people were all like, "That is actually the voice of Satan coming from that song."
So apparently in my dreams, I can remember what kinds of animals the Four Guardians in Eastern mythology are as well as three of their Japanese names.
What I can't remember is that Genbu the turtle does not actually have the head of a sabertooth tiger.

I am an incredibly boring person.
I don't know, it'd depend on my mood when said portal shows up.
Step 1: Google "The Mayday Mystery"
Step 2: Never lack a Mystery to solve again.

I keep seeing that in .gif form.

We're all so lazy and unambitious.
The one project I did have going well I just stopped (that'd be that Tohomon LP).
I did consider doing another LP in the meantime but I figured people would be annoyed.

I-n-t-e-r-e-s-t-i-n-g.
You know, MLP is one of those shows I would probably totally be into if being into it did not immediately get me slapped with eighty different labels.
I try not to be hipster like that but sometimes it's hard to help.

Can't get more mainstream then the mane-six.
I am honestly starting to think I have some sort of serious form of ADD.
I have been reading this rulebook for over an hour and I am on page seven.
and now I'm listening to IOSYS.
brain, ah-focus.
things I have done in the past ten minutes:
*checked the TF2005 forums
*tried (and failed again) to read this manual so I know how to play this RP I wanna join
*decided to listen to IOSYS
*got bored with "Caiprinhha" halfway through, decided to listen to "Margaritaville" instead

you know what?
sure
why the hell not.
I don't understand anything anymore.
Although, the Internet definitely doesn't help in that regard. >_>
Hello Fouria.
Would you like some free KITTEN KANDY?
No, it's cat-shaped cotton candy.
I've had a lot of confectionery ideas lately. I don't know why. I don't even like most candy.
oh man
who here remembers Smash Mouth?
This was one of the first bands I was ever into, in retrospect, honestly.
I liked "All Star".
I think Astro Lounge might've been the first album I ever owned. If not "the" than certainly one of them. My cousin Kiki gave it to me as a birthday present.
I was also into Sugar Ray around the same time.
This is both awesome and exceedingly random.

Apparently, Smash Mouth actually released a new album last month. It's called Magic.
You sound just a tad bitter, guys. :B
This one's a good deal better.
I have no idea who J. Dash is though.
I'm gonna head to bed now.
Goodnight all.
y'all can see me now 'cause you don't see wit your eyes
