So I had this idea for a stupid comedy skit.
It opens with two women sitting around talking. They're waiting for the one woman's husband, who is late because he was working overtime at the local radio station. Then the husband finally walks in, and he's like "I hope you don't mind, but I brought some friends home from work." And the women are like "ooh, let's meet them!"
Then it turns out the "friends from work" are the JAM singers, who then proceed to interject "jingles" into the remainder of their conversation, which frustrates the women even though the husband doesn't seem bothered by it at all. Like, they talk about how it's supposed to snow this week, and the singers interject with "COLUMBUS WEATHER!"

Woman #1: Why are you home so late?
Husband: Oh, I stayed a bit late to work some overtime.
Singers: More work, more money...OVERTIME! At WPVD!
Are we not allowed to do business with NBC? They have the honor of having had the last show I watched before quitting TV - Late Night with Conan O'Brien.

Would it change your opinion of NBC at all to know that they then promoted O'Brien to The Tonight Show, only to fire him mere months later and bring back Jay Leno?

...You know, it's weird to me that there was a period of over 2 decades when the US had national maximum speed limit of 55.
Higurashi No Naku Koro ni Fikushon Hīrōsēbingu-hen (The Hero Saving Chapter) The nightmare has become past, and Rika and her friends have finally earned their peace. Rika, unfortunately, has not yet prepared to live in a world she can no longer control. With her hero, her one secret piece in her puzzle, Keiichi Maebara, slowly drifting away from her and towards her other friends, she begins to feel distraught at the fact that, even after spending a hundred years getting to know him, she is still so far away from his heart. She wishes just once more, that she could spend time with Keiichi, and be seen by him in the same ways that he sees her older friends.

...You know, I took this picture because I thought the road name was funny, but now I notice that the exit tab is unusually wide:

You know, you've got me curious now.
According to WBIR's site, it was originally called "Sugar Creek", but in 1780 winter was very harsh and a lot of animals died. So when warm weather finally came around again, the carcasses of all this dead wildlife started stinking up the area. And the name just stuck ever since.

You know, "Reynoldsburg - New Albany Road" doesn't seem like an exceptionally long name until you actually see it on a sign:
I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
Well you have a show on the kids' channel called Haven's Corner, wherein you make puns and live on a pony farm and learn life lessons with the other farm residents.

Weirdly, there is a parallel road only a half a mile or so away called Havens Road.
I imagine someone named Havens once owned the land out here. (Landowners' names are much rural street names originate, more often than not.)

There are several streets around the country that match my username, but that's cheating. :P

Well, I heard a newer song whose melody vaguely reminded me of this:
...So I decided to look up that song, which I haven't heard in years, and it reminds me strongly of my childhood.

I think everyone with the ability to change it has changed it at least once, now.

So Haven made me a Princess Magic-themed Magic deck. Or, rather, a faerie-themed Magic deck, because that's the closest he could do to Princess Magic.
So I should probably actually learn to play the game now.

You know what I'm kinda disappointed I've never gotten to see in real life? A traffic light switching from stop-and-go mode to flashing mode. Or vice versa.

I wanted to buy Starz, too. Though why is beyond me, it's apparently crap.
