Doctor Who reference in Pokemon B2W2? Headcanon accepted.
As a conservative, I don't have too much of a problem with atheists. The ones that I know are the type that are against the mixing of church and state (so do I) but don't carry it over to something like throwing a fit over a cross at a war memorial. At their core they're basically truth-seekers and only really go after religion when it's actively harmful, like faith healers. Randi, Penn and Teller, and Sagan are great examples of what I'm talking about. I have many militantly atheist friends that I get along with just fine, as well. We have the same interests in astronomy and the like and having a difference of opinion regarding theism hasn't been an obstacle.
Which is why the advent of Atheism+ has me truly pitying atheism as a whole.
One strip of theirs is a direct jab at ctrl+alt+del, Tim Buckley to be precise. That's as far as they went with it (and it was pretty funny if you ask me)
on a rather different note, one of the best ways to know that in mono y mono an internet argument, you have your opponent fuming is when they reply to what you say with "This amuses me."
From 1939 to 1941, Nelson S. Bond wrote a series of science fiction shorts about Meg, a priestess who rebels against her tribe. A typical story, "Magic City", describes the journey from the land of Jinnia (in the country of Tizathy: at one point Meg actually recites an ancient magical incantation that begins with the line, "My country, Tizathy") to the far-off city of Noork, to slay Death who dwells in a temple called Slukes. When Meg's companion points out that the temple is clearly marked STLUKES, she assures him that the "t" is silent.
Hey! I read the first book of this when I was in fifth grade.
in this new episode of thats so raven, raven has a vision of a fire, and thinks it means she’s going to go on a camping trip with her crush!! what she doesn’t realize, though, is that the fire is actually the infernos of late capitalism, turning what remains of the natural world into a tortured wasteland, an endless expanse of crumbling industries and institutions, a dark, rusted, unpitying landscape of smog and nuclear waste and the decrepit remains of what was once known as western civilization, reduced to a crater where nothing but cheap nihilism and empty commodities are produced for a consumer mass that has been crushed out of existence. can she and her friends find a disguise and get out of this sticky situation before its too late??
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
If that were the creepiest thing anyone's ever done involving Rei Ayanami, I could understand it, but just trust me in saying that it really, really isn't.

Is Rei like a sexy goddess to a lot of people or something?
Unfortunately, that's probably a good way of putting it.
Which is funny, considering that she's ugly*, emotionally dead (literally, she does not have emotions. That is not an exaggeration), constantly wrapped in bandages, and frankly, a creep.
Even considering ink-attraction, she is not at all someone I can understand anyone desiring in any capacity.
She's apparently been made less....all of the above in more recent additions to the Evangelion canon, but I wouldn't know.
*I'm willing to chalk this one up to the art style, the others, not so much.

God, I can already tell I'd suck online. Jeez.
This show is painfully bad.
This is actually a funny concept, but ruined by execution.
Oh gee, would you like some homophobia with that mediocrity?
Never mind, I wasn't thinking.
It's not the idea, the idea is funny, but the execution is so awful.
Especially by arguments on the internet.
YOU HOMOSEXUAL ASPERGERS PERSON WITH NOBODY TO LOVE.
I, on the other hand, find Monty Python hilarious even decades after its particular brand of humor has long been diluted by over-referencing.
I am the kind of person who can get caught up for a minute on how funny the word "hubcap" is.
huuuuuuuuuuuuuubcaP

I forget what it's called, though.
I tried it out. I'm sucking so far but I have to say being a stoopid noobie has never been so fun.
I hope peeps don't get mad at me for being dumb and new though. Online games n all that.

Moby sure was a popular target for awhile, wasn't he?
Dunno why he was famous either for that matter.
He made some pretty cool songs.
I actually quite like Moby, I don't get the hate.
I already switched it out once but most people reblogged the original version. >_>
