Just went legit go-karting. They do it like a real race, with flags and stuff.
I came in third of four people, but I was more focused on not hitting a wall and dying a burny death than actually racing. There was a certain thrill to it though. I had fun.
Man, I wish I knew how to emulate Arcade games, because Dogyuun just sounds freaking awesome.
Even in single player mode, Dogyuun is still incredible, and there really is a lot of stuff to blow up and a lot of ways to do it. As a change of pace, your default weapon is a powerful blue piercing laser that periodically grows and shrinks. Other weapons include a pink psycho laser that homes in on enemies, a red laser that bends to hit things in right angles, and a green multi laser that shoots two beams in front of the ship. None of these weapons can be upgraded, but they are all extremely powerful. You also get a bomb that obliterates all small enemies on screen and heavily damages most bosses.

Super Läzuli said:You know what I'd do if I ever became stupidly wealthy? I'd open up an arcade. A big one, we'd import cabinets form Japan and shit, and there'd be a retro section too. It'd be fuckin' awesome. (probably not that profitable, though)
When I moved to LA in around 1997, I met up with a bunch of other folks who did the same thing and we'd regularly drive up to Pasadena to visit this incredible fucking arcade at the ass-end of Colorado Blvd (yes, that Colorado Blvd) where every single game in the joint was always 1 credit. If you had 20 bucks, you'd be playing all night.
Anyway, to say they had every fucking arcade game known to man was an exaggeration, but only a slight one. They imported japan-only shooters like Hot Dog Storm and others. We'd arrive around 6pm and be kicked out at like 2am. They even had a fully-working, 6-button stand-up Street Fighter. I can attest that pulling off a dragon punch on that machine was practically impossible.

She is apparently the "Princess of Britain" in the future. Why she is fighting monsters and robots as a mercenary is not really clear. Lucy Pamela has the same weapons as Howard Young - a machine gun, Peace Masher, and ion laser.

Also, final count of times I had gotten angry at myself yesterday was forty four times, which would've been more if I wasn't aware of how many times I did it.
Back when I was in high school, I don't think the teachers ever missed an IEP meeting, but then, it could be argued that schools cared more about student success back in the early 1990s...last I heard (which was a decade ago, when my second-to-last brother was there), that same school was completely locked down due to fear of Hispanic gangs. And don't get me started on "No Child Left Behind"...

For much of middle school (as well as the first year of high school) I ended up in the awkward position of the school principals hating me and wanting to get rid of me while the district superintendent loved me and wanted to give me the support I needed.
I imagine if our district had had more than one middle school she just would have transferred me to a better one, but as it was she just ended up lecturing the principals a lot to no avail.

CA: That was pretty much my experience with middle school, too, except I was in a private day school whose proprietors were clearly only in it for the money. The first year of high school (1991-1992) was at a public alternative school and was a huge improvement, but we moved after that.

The only two teachers that ever liked me was my art teacher in middle school, and my hateful, mean, cruel science teacher from the same school. Everybody hated the guy except for me. Guy was an asshole to everybody and for Christmas put a statue of Scrooge on his desk. While everyone else was trying to be cool with the rest of the teachers, who were pathetically desperate to relive their own school days, this guy brooked no such nonsense.
Anyway in boot camp I received a letter from him. He stated that he was in the same barracks as I was in the late 50's, and being a Marine the high point of his life. I knew there was something I liked about him.
^^ (wrong thread :P )No it is not supposed to have an intro I think, as it continues right from where the last HTML5 segment left off. And it is HTML5 not Flash. : )

Every laser.
I guess.
Fun fact: one of the default high scores on this game is listed as belonging to "Nas". I wonder if he's a nasty guy.

Man, that's living the dream right there.
I wonder how hard it is to get capital for that. Guessing somewhere in the realm of "stupid hard".
Such is the feeling of putting on weight.
I had to throw out most of my old pants the other day, most of 'em don't fit me anymore.
Granted, they were mostly 3 or 4 year old pairs, but still.
We would also import Fixeight, because this.
Computer is had.
Yay :D
Just speds are retarded tho.
To be fair, my case manager has waaaay too much on her plate, so I can see how someone who isn't much trouble like me gets overlooked.

this EP is pretty rad and it's 7 bucks on iTunes or so so drop a few bucks and get it.
(I was trying to avoid spoilers)
Better than the real thing.
Does the backgrounds for the Hangout have circles of brighter white, or am I the only one that sees them?
I has it
