  On one hand, it seems like it's just a smartphone made less useful by being bigger and more cumbersome. It's not exactly something you stick in your pocket and carry with you at all times--I have a smartphone for that.

  
  

  On the other hand...it's kinda something my 6-year-old self would have thought was from the year 3000. It's a full computer, more or less, that fits into something the size of a book. Instead of taking a book to bed with me, I can get the ebook, then have that in bed with me alongside a full web browser, videos, music, podcasts, etc...

  I know that if tablets had existed back in, oh, 1985, I would have been in heaven. It would have been like having Penny's magic book computer from Inspector Gadget!

  Um see the work study system here changed...so not even the staff knows what this new crap is. You have to sign a form (as well as your employer) and then it gets submitted with the other form that lets you get paid. Apparently, the clerk who files stuff didn't submit anyone's hours because they had not heard back about the work study until a day after pay day.

  Yeah...the old system was much easier. "I have work study" "K, whatever, here's your moneys." Well, kind of like that anyway. You actually knew how much you could get in a semester. Now, they don't tell you, just put a $2,000 cap on it.
  
  Rest of my day was okay. The internet here is terrible though and went out for awhile. But, I went and worked out while it was being funky.

  I'm doing okay too. My classes went well, though my physics lab didn't go as smoothly as I'd hoped. I also got to catch up with one of my friends for a bit. That was really nice.
