It's bizarre to me that PPG seems to get shoved under the category of "girly cartoons". I mean, c'mon, it's about superheroes who beat the shit out of giant monsters with excessive amounts of violence.

Those bumpers irritate me.
They don't really fit in with the rest of the toys bumpers; if Turner cared about Boomerang they would have had Primal Screen whip up more of them for the Cartoon Cartoons and perhaps had the music not resemble the theme song so closely. Most of the show-specific bumpers base their music on pieces of BGM from their respective shows.

^^^^^ That's debatable. I would argue that certain basic inborn rules of the "don't kill for kicks" variety are kind of a necessity for survival in many social species. It's just that human beings seem to be the only animals to have explicitly codified those values.
