A pizza place called Sella's. Quite good. Then we went to the store.
Surprisingly, my mom seemed happy. Though, my brother was apparently unhappy cuz his girlfriend in India dumped him with no explanation. He seemed fine to me though.
When I was at home fore summer she seemed kind of unhappy to me. I asked my brother and he said she had been doing fine (though he's only been at home for 2 days).
We had like a pepperoni, olive, garlic dish. It seemed incredibly cheese laden this time around.

^^ Now you've got me thinking about American User.

On a less needlessly smartassy note, I know what you mean. The hours seem to have, like, melted

My family wants to go to the Marion Popcorn Festival today
Which worries me because it means I'll have to go to bed sometime before 9 am

Weird confession: When I have my entire music library on Shuffle and it picks a Christmas song, I just let it play regardless of what time of year it is.
Thanks guys. I think I was just having a tantrum honestly. I need to see somebody about these mood swings, maybe.
Also, things done at work today
1. Dropped a bottle of seltzer water on the floor, it exploded all over two and a half aisles. Had to clean the entire thing up with napkins cuz we were out of Spillmagic.
2. Taught Hasan, the 72 year old Turkish man who speaks nearly no English to say "bro".

I thought maybe they just had it sitting on its top in the pictures for some reason, but look at the later pictures in the set--the visors are right-side up.
Well I guess I could explain to ya, but it'll require lotsa footnotes.
Anyhow, basically, Wegman's is a combination grocery store and restaurant. In addition to your vanilla grocery store stuff we also have a Pizzeria, Bakery, Deli, Wokery and a Cafe'. We're also getting a Pub pretty soon, though we already have a liquor store.
I, however work in the grocery department. We handle dry goods, which is not to say that we don't sell drinks, but rather that we don't sell any perishables (such as milk or veggies, handled by Deli and Produce respectively). Basically what I do is simply run the back stock that's piled up from the trucks (I never interact with the trucks myself, I'm part time and that's a job for full-timers) onto the shelves and stock it. The stuff from the back is known as Live Stock (no relation to cattle or pigs). After I do that, I round up any extra (known as Dead Stock) and take it to the back, where it is stored for later rotation. It's a bit more complex than that, but that's the long and short of it. After I do that, I basically make my aisles look pretty, neat and even that is. The process is called Conditioning. I won't go exactly what goes into it, because much like letter spacing, after you learn to recognize bad aisle conditioning it will make you rage endlessly (I dread going into local not-so-supermarket The Country Harvest because of this. They simply don't condition, so their aisles are messy as hell.)
In any case, I don't have an assigned aisle, again since I'm only part time. So what aisle I stock specifically generally depends on who's not there that day, and thus, who I have to fill in for. Most often, I stock the Juice & Water section*, the Laundry section*, the Imports section*, Coffee* or the canned foods*. I also help out with Tetso Candy* pretty often, but that's everyone's job. Today I also helped out with Bake* but that's unusual for me.
Depending on the aisle I'm working, the work ranges from tedious to genuinely pretty interesting. Most of the folks I work with are also pretty cool, though some of them rub me the wrong way. I'm also entitled to up to four ten minute breaks and a 30 minute lunch break, but I usually don't take the former.
*Contains, obviously, juices and bottled water, but also energy drinks (including our own INCREDIBLY MANLY brand), martini mixes, and AriZona Tea products. Powdered drinks elsewhere. *This is where you'd find detergent, as well as boxed and handsoaps, dish soap, and air fresheners, which is technically its own sub-department (Air Care), on the other end of this section you find tissues, napkins, toilet paper, and disposable kitchenware such as paper plates. *Probably my favorite section. Has four main sub-sections for The United Kingdom, South America, Japan, and Other Countries. I love the Japan section, both due to my inner weaboo and the fact that we sell things such as Fusen Soda (genuinely good) and Happi Crazy Mix and GoodGood Eat (genuinely hilarious). The other sections have more boring stuff, the UK section has Weetabix, for chrissake. *Coffee has....well, Coffee. This is also where all the powdered drink mixes are. *This is where you find your canned whatevers, as well as condiments and whatever you'd class things like gravy. This aisle also has boxed rice, cuz why not? This aisle also hates me, any time I'm in here something falls off the shelves. *Tetso Candy is a close second for favorite section. It's a subsection of candy near the Candy Bar (handled by a different department. Basically, one of those things where you get candy by the pound. We also have every color of M&M. Including grey, if you're the most boring person in the world, and Gems, which are M&Ms that are just the colored candy-coating part.) where we stock things like fancy chocolates (your Ghirardelli, Lindt, Godiva, etc. also a surprising amount of candy bars with things like chili pepper bits or bacon in them), and there's another part of it for large bags of candy where you'll find things like Blowpops and Gummi Bears.
Mostly because I actually enjoy going there when I'm up north, in comparison to home where I've been to all the grocery stores dozens of times. Heck, even if I live up there I'll probably like it more cuz it's not as... boring.
Remember back in the 50s when they'd record like Elvis singing YOU AIN'T NOTHIN BUT A HOUND DOG and then they'd turn the record over and reverse it and it was all NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP and people were all like, "That is actually the voice of Satan coming from that song."
Sounds like a really nice place.
I just went on their corporate website to get a better mental image of the store (I know that sounds weird), and their "daily meal idea" is a Jalapeño Cheddar Burger with Irradiated Beef. At first, my mind went to a different definition of "irradiated" than the one that was intended.

That's the sum of it, really.
