Businessman nothing, he's a pretty sharp rapper. It's just that all of his notable singles ("Lollipop", "A Mili", "6 Foot 7 Foot") don't really showcase this, and no one ever really cares to dig any deeper.
He's primarily a pop act, which is something people forget, but he can get complicated when he wants to.
Also I find it funny that one of the biggest criticism of him is that his lyrics make no sense. L-O-L
