Queer Anthropology: Cultural Diversity of ‘Alternative’ Genders offered Winter Quarter 2012
They try to draw me in with the rainbow-colored flyer and their interesting subject matter, but I imagine this course would be boring as fuck.
Also it probably isn't needed for a degree in graphic design.

I don't know. I imagine it's mainly a lot of lecturing and essay-writing.
I want hands-on experience with gender nonconformity, dammit!

I was just sort of wondering.
I think you would do well in college, for some reason, though if you're like me you might feel a little overwhelmed at first with going right back into a brick-and-mortar school situation.

So the McDonald's in Gahanna recently moved from its original location on Hamilton Road to a new building just down the street in front of the Goodwill Store.
That's disappointing to me, because the old location was the oldest remaining McDonald's I knew of in this part of town. Also it had a PlayPlace.

The one over on East Broad Street by the hospital has that too.
It's located in a bizarre little group of outlots recently (3 years ago or so) built in front of what once was a cell-phone factory but now is (at least partly) additional offices for Mount Carmel Hospital. With it are a credit union and a Sonic drive-in.

Well it's the kind of setup you normally find in front of a retail development, but instead of a shopping center it's squeezed in in front of this huge industrial building. It's very odd.

Ok, then! From Denver, take I-70 east through Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, and Indiana and into Ohio, then take exit 108 to I-270 north. From I-270, take exit 39 to OH 16/Broad Street, EAST towards Newark and your destination will be on your left.

You know, the Kroger Marketplace in Gahanna feels strangely foreign.
Not "foreign" as in, like, another country. I mean, it gives me that feeling like when you're in another state and you visit a grocery store there.

This part seemed a bit too flanderizey for me, but it's still amusing somehow:

I think it helps that she says "I really mean it this time", so she at least recognizes when even SHE'S overreacting. She could very well be doing it not because she actually is in all that much distress, she just likes being the center of attention. And it's hard to compete with Ponies like Dash and Pinkie Pie.
Funny that they play the exact same music each time. I never noticed until now.

It at least made sense within the context of the episode to me: The first time it was played so Twilight thought Rarity was actually in trouble, the joke being that she just lost some ribbon. The second time serves to further establish that Rarity is just a drama queen, so her overreaction back at the boutique doesn't look as entirely contrived as it would have. Then the third time, well, she really does mean it.
I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
...so for some reason I have Wal-Mart, Fox News Channel, General Motors, McDonald's and Paramount Pictures as part of the Five-Man Band of American Consumerism.

The first time Rarity is also alone until Twilight showed up. Considering she's likely alone for long stretches of time doing her dress making, it's possible she's also used to acting like this away from where anyone can see her.
I do love that she apparently brought an entire couch with her for the picnic. Also note she's the only pony on a pillow at the end of that episode when they're composing the letter to Princess Celestia.

...I think I'm obsessed with Paramount Pictures now.
For some reason they seem "blank" to me, perhaps because their TV division has been in the hands of CBS for five years now, and for the last two hasn't even had "Paramount" in its name or logo.

I still associate the "Paramount" name with Kings Island, despite the park having been owned by Cedar Fair for over 5 years now.

I think if I were a numbered highway, I'd be a state route.
You see, being a U.S. Route would be more of an honorary title than anything else, and I don't think I deserve that. And I'm nowhere near responsible enough to handle being an Interstate route.

AW YEAH!

You mean like how you're used to the same few, and when you go in one that's like those same few but isn't one of them, it's weird?
