  Yeah, Lance Corporal was a time-in-grade promotion for us, too. After that, it becomes a competition for promotion, which is either easy or cutthroat given your MOS. For me, I picked up Corporal without even really knowing it because there were only a handful of us artists in the Marine Corps proper.
