I had never heard of this particular ROM patcher before tonight and I don't know how to use it. I always end up with an exact copy of the ROM I started out with.
I am apparently the only person to ever play this with this problem, because there are no relevant Google results. No tutorials, no lone people asking for help, nothing.
Help would be appreciated if any of you know how to do this.

Wikipedia says they are "Sing-a-ma-jigs," presumably because they make noises when you squeeze them. While that would probably be entertainment enough, they also harmonize their weird voices (in different pitches) when you squeeze more than one at once and have a song they can sing if you keep squeezing them. Yeah, I realize these are pretty much just squeaky toys for humans, but messing around with them at a Toys 'R' U (twice no less) seemed well worth it.
I think I might've accidentally broken the file. I would just download another one but I can't find the one working mediafire link in the bed of thousands of broken ones that exist. Because she either removed or set to private all but one of them.

As long as you've made it clear that you want it to be a "serious" RP, I think the right course of action is to flag the people who are disrupting the game with shitposting so the mods can tell them to knock it off.

There is a working ROM for literally every other Touhoumon mod I have attempted to play besides this one, which is a good four or five.
I actually re-downloaded the files and I am still getting the "this is not an IPS file" error.

Said alteration being that I did not physically drag and drop the ROM into VisualBoy Advance.
