Realizing that "Jenny" wasn't the same number of syllables as "Buttercup" and thus their theme song was ruined, Blossom and Bubbles sought to negotiate with their sister to re-join the Powerpuff Girls.
In 2006 Buttercup accepted her sisters' offer and rejoined the Powerpuff Girls. In 2008, she sold Buttercup's Marial Arts Academy and Bakery to Creepytown Brands LLC, who closed the martial arts academy in 2010 and began operating it solely as a bakery. Jenny Wakeman once again left the Powerpuff Girls, but her contract dictated that the girls allow her to remain as Buttercup's understudy. This proved useful in May 2007, when Buttercup ate a bunch of caffeine pills and couldn't get any sleep, rendering her too tired to fight crime. Wakeman's contract expired in June 2012, at which point she moved back to Tremorton to resume her crime-fighting and high school education.
