I actually went ahead and made the page with the tiny logo before I saw your response here. Maybe I'll fake a larger version some other time though, if I find myself suitably bored.

The whole AT&T saga has always fascinated me: One huge telephone company, serving the entire United States. DoJ decides to go trustbuster on their ass, and splits it into 7 much smaller regional companies. So what do those seven companies do? Spend the next 20 years merging with each other again, until there are only three large companies left, those being "new" AT&T, CenturyLink (Qwest), and Verizon.

...The road signs, probably.
I mean, I love the ponies and all, but roads have been pretty much a life-long obsession of mine.
Also, half past midnight on a Saturday. Caffeine time!

Ok, Kroger. Only got a few of these, but here they are.
I don't know if you can tell in these pictures, but it seems they turn off about half the lighting in the store during the overnight hours.
Also notice the Fifth Third Bank has the post-2007 logo; this was only changed in the past couple weeks--it orginally had the older red and black logo.

The Cleveland Avenue/Leonard Avenue one didn't work, there's an extra "http" in there.
Also, now I'm imagining road sign workers as something like Santa Claus. Sneaking in only when no one's on the roads to slap the orange stickers on there, and then in the morning all the commuters excitedly race out and squeal in joy at the bright new "exit closed" bundled under the signs.

Fixed.
I wish the thing didn't pre-fill "http". When would anyone ever copypaste a link that doesn't already have that?

^^ You mentioned Time Warner the other day which made me think of Time Warner Cable which made me think of Ameritech.
Silly I know, but sometimes it seems the smallest things can trigger my obsessions.

I AM OUT OF THE SHOWER
and posting from the local Wendy's. WCAU's Bob Chevron is here, ordering an Asiago Chicken Sandwich

I sometimes feel guilty for not really enjoying the thread anymore.
Me too.
And yes it is, but Bob Chevron's hunger knows no state lines

Indeed. It is the best Wendy's in the entire Newport, Kentucky.

The Detroit Lions don't play in the TARDIS, their team is the Storm.
Their cheerleaders do this really cute dance even if all they ever chant is "Oncoming!", except for the season when their routine was to just start howling and then yell "Bad Wolf!"
I sometimes feel guilty for not really enjoying the thread anymore.
Sometimes I think I'm guilty of ruining the thread somehow, like I never quite got into the spirit and was part of the group eroding it. Or something. So, sorry if that's the case.

Notice the entrances are marked "entry" and "24-hour entry"...the one entrance is closed after 10 pm, functioning as an emergency exit only.

Road signs or Ponies?

Ugh.
I don't know if you can tell in these pictures, but it seems they turn off about half the lighting in the store during the overnight hours.
Beverages sign.
The beverage aisle. This end of the store was actually added on in 2006, previously it had ended where the Seasonal section is now.
Milk/dairy cooler.
Looking towards the center of the store from the back. You can kinda see in this picture, there's a large section between aisles 1 and 2 with lots of overpriced cookware and general merchandise.
Aisle 9, looking back towards the dairy cooler. Note none of the freezers are lit at this time of night.
The other end of Aisle 9, looking towards greeting cards and the Fifth Third Bank. Note that the aisle sign is just a number--no items listed at all.
Also notice the Fifth Third Bank has the post-2007 logo; this was only changed in the past couple weeks--it orginally had the older red and black logo.
(Also: first link fixed)
...why do I think about ABC Inc's finances?
LEFT 2 LANES, RIGHT 2 LANES
The first sign that the Spring Street ramp is closed
An extra lane is now dropped at I-670
MAINTAIN 2 LANES, NEXT EXIT
The Cleveland Avenue/Leonard Avenue exit
Spring Street closed again. Also note no shield for Broad Street (US 40)
The closed Spring Street exit
"Construction Access Only" with arrow pointing to where the Spring Street ramp would have been
Small temporary guide signs. Note the erroneous use of an Ohio 40 shield for US 40, and "Mile" written in mixed case on the Main Street sign. (I couldn't get a picture of these without that sign support in the way, unfortunately)
The US 40/Broad Street exit itself, which is the posted detour for Spring Street
The Cleveland Avenue/Leonard Avenue one didn't work, there's an extra "http" in there.

Also, the god-complex pony in my mind now walks only on his/her hind legs, in an Animal Farm-esque display of superiority.
Silly I know, but sometimes it seems the smallest things can trigger my obsessions.
IMI IS A PERVERT
^Yup, there it is
I read ancient pages with lots of frequency.
It gives me a sense of nostalgia and fun. Nostalgiafun.

^WCAU is in Philadelphia, you silly mare!

Aww.
And then I turned into a pony.
And got ninja'd in the way Imi was complaining about before.
