I can see why you'd think that. The whole store has a sort of dark, dreary feel to it, though the sections with the lower ceiling (like in that picture) especially so. And there are always barely any people around--I've seen Aldi stores busier than I've ever seen that place.
@shallow troper couples: Oh, is that what certain people (not naming names) were complaining about in Romance? If so, then yeah, I agree; it seems like there's a bunch of horny teens on the forums that are hooking up with anyone that'll say yes. I didn't like that sort of thing when I was in high school and I'm not terribly keen on it as an adult, either.
