You know, if Buttercupistiny or her sister came to this forum, I would have included them as producers, too.
Also we need to figure out some other shows for Ctrl+Freak to produce.

Fantastic news: we’re not just getting old! I mean, our bodies are decaying at a rate much faster than previous generations, but our sensibilites aren’t! Let me explain: Science-doers in Spain have announced that all the pop music you consider loud and unremarkable is just that. The group discovered that it’s due to “…a progressive homogenization of the musical discourse,” which just means that songs have less changes in them and are less distinguishable from one another. Also, pop’s “timbre palette” is limited, and the intrinsic loudness (volume attached to a song that can make it seem louder than its given setting) has increased. The only unremarkable part about the post is their opining of “Old tunes re-recorded with increased loudness, simpler chord progressions and different instruments could sound new and fashionable.” Has Reuters not heard of Flo Rida?
FM: Wow, someone has a tin ear, or they took the Four Chord Song a bit too seriously. And copycat fads in pop music are nothing new and have been happening since at least the start of the blues era.

CA: I've felt that way before myself, complete with actual kernel panic messages from FreeBSD floating around in my head. Usually it's depression-related, which means it thankfully hasn't happened much recently.

A bunch of shitty thoughts about my body and my family and "purity" have clogged up my mind and rendered me unable to focus on anything at all, leaving me with the feeling that there's nothing to do but just sit around in a state of complete confusion until this passes.
Also, Lee, now I'm thinking about how Tzetze used to (maybe still does) spit out random computer code when he was stressed

I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
Oh, CA, you know when you said you'd have a t-shirt with the Powerpuff Girls on it and I'd have one with Dexter on it?
I keep thinking I'd rather have one with Space Ghost or Cow and Chicken on it. (Sometimes I feel like a lesser being for thinking of the latter's show as anything but a horrible Ren & Stimpy knockoff, though I admit it did get really stupid late in its run)
If I'm really upset about something, my brain will hurt. The only thing that feels right is staring at walls, because it literally hurts too much to do anything else. This typically only happens when I'm extremely anxious about something, though; it happened several times when I was upset over whether Ally liked me or not. It's pretty much the last step before I start bawling.

I can recall feeling the way I do now only one time before: about this time last year, when my then-resurgent gender dysphoria was at its height and I was frustrated with my inability to deal with it. At the time, I described it simply as "needing someone to bitch to".
So that's what I'm trying now...I PM'd a few of my close friends, who thankfully have sleep schedules just as fucked-up as mine, and I'm venting my frustrations a little...

I feel very accomplished. Not as much as I was when I actually did create the site but still, it's nice to know your stuff is better now than it was.

And go to the bar
But how long have I been
Going on and on and on
It's too late now
No turning back
Atomic clock
The skies turn black
No daylight savings, now
Regret the time you slept
It's one third of your life
And precious minutes lost
I get an 80's vibe from this.
