Earlier I came to a stop sign--the two-lane road I was on ended at a state highway.
Even though said state highway clearly had two lanes in each direction (and a center turn lane), there was a ONE WAY sign on the far side of the intersection, pointing left.
I stared for like a minute trying to make sense of this, before I realized the ONE WAY sign was left-over from when the highway had been divided, and the contractors couldn't be arsed to remove it when they paved over the median with the center left-turn lane.
I'm tempted to go out there in the daytime, take a picture of the erroneous sign, and send a complaint to ODOT...

An animation class? Maybe it would be interesting, but I don't know if I could do animation as a career.
That's one of the cool things about college, though, AU. Even if you're not intending to do animation as a career, you could take an animation class to learn about it and get a feel for whether or not it's your thing.

Look, I went through a pretty long period of "the world is horrible and there is nothing I can do about it ;_;" too, so I sympathize, but you can't let it control you.

It's more a personal woe I'm feeling right now rather than an existential or universal one. It's just that the fact that the world is so sad and so bad so often is making me more miserable than I would ordinarily be.
Rats carrying their babies are really kind of funny, not only because their babies are so doofy looking but because the stance is so close to that of a dog carrying its puppies.
My friend had two rats (one died later), and one time when I visited him, he let his rats out and one perched on my shoulder while the other climbed over my feet. It felt strange, but I felt so... loved.
I used to have a pair of gerbils named Jeremiah and Jinksius (Jerry and Jinx for short, I was like nine and really in to Tom & Jerry, don't question it). Gerbils are adorbs for much the same reasons.

I should get a Tumblr, if only for the convenience of not having to bookmark every strange yet cool thing that I stumble upon. Also, picture-blogging. Maybe.

I went to an antique store today and found a nice-looking Fantastical Creatures Tarot deck for about $18. I decided to buy it. Looking through it, it seems like dragons are a little underrepresented (only 3 of the cards out of 78; you'd think there would be one or two more). But aside from that, it's got a decent variety of mythology to it, and it still looks really nice. I'm thinking about playing with it at some point.
I mean, c'mon! I think going to bed at midnight and waking up at seven is reasonable enough. At the very least, it shouldn't be bad enough to cause me to pass out.

This one liberal columnist wrote a very good article a while back on why he's going to continue eating at Chik-Fil-A, and here I thought I bookmarked it. Something to the effect that people and businesses are allowed to have opinions.
From a labor perspective, they're incredibly friendly to their workers, especially with guaranteed Sundays off.
