Well, he put himself out there which is what I'm about to do. I just purchased an external case so I can fetch all my comic pages left sitting on my old laptop to put to book. I've already got about 35% of actually putting it together done, I just need to drag out all the comic files to put to page which shouldn't take too long, assuming the HD in question didn't bite it. I've never done the Artist Alley thing before so that's what I'm going to do, and use lulu.com (or some other vanity press if it's better) to put out something nice and hardbound.
I think the reason I like them, is that aside from 80s "metal" bands which even I don't really consider metal, DragonForce is probably the only metal band I ever listened to that I thought A) they were good and B) they didn't seem to be trying to like, impress me? I don't really know how to put it.
I feel a lot of metal bands try too hard, I suppose.

Yep. Including the comics online, I have a lot more of material never released to pad the volume as well. Hell it's been ten years and damn near 150 comics with a bunch more I never posted, I really should get around to doing so.

The good news is the at-cost printing for everything I have planned -- 200 pages which could change -- hardbound B+W 6x9 book would cost $18.00 just for one, no telling how cheaper for bulking up to 20 or 50 copies. Also, I'm going to need editors and nitpickers and considering how HH here is full of people who scrutinize road signs and grocery store signs and fonts, I was going to ask for the tradeoff of a free copy for editing help.
No idea when I'll get this done, I want to have the rough draft of the book ready in a month but if there's any hardware issues, I'll surmount them but it'll slow the project down for a while.

I'd help but I know approximately nothing about comic-ing.

Anyway, here's the copyright page:
One of the reasons I'm posting this now is because Georgia has been the font I've been using for a lot of the text and I'd like to know now if this is a bad idea like Comic Sans bad because I have no idea. If there was a movie made for Helvetica, there's no telling how people feel about Georgia

Not speaking as one of the font people requested, but it looks rather over-formal for a comic strip, IMO.

Georgia was made for the screen, but I guess it would work in print. I've never really had any experience doing print work, though, so I don't know much about Georgia for print.

Yes, they are. The quote from Brigadier General Litzenberg is from another Marine Corps comic, "Leatherhead in Korea" which was a semiautobiographical and extremely well done comic book about the Marine experience in Korea. It sounds strange, but the USMC has such a long and amazing history when it comes to cartooning.

Anonus: I'm just looking for something simple and pleasing for the sparse amount of text I'm using. I know as much about fonts as a politician does about telling the truth. So I'm open to any suggestions. Hell, if I didn't know any better at all and it was 1999, I probably would have used Comic Sans.

Ah okay thanks Anonus, Lumine. I forgot to mention that one of my considerations for when this went to press was that the PDF file I'd use to submit would have a font that's common enough for it to be safe to submit as-is. While in the USMC working as an illustrator, sometimes I'd get these job orders in from these admin jockeys who thought Powerpoint was do-everything web editor, publishing software, graphics editor, etc and they'd bring their masterpieces in to print and their choice in bizarre fonts from some other dimension/space/time caused their carefully-spaced little PPT file to, well, you know happened there.

Super Lazuli: I think the ubiquitous nature of comic sans is why it's so hated. It was the go-to font for me, and hell even Penny Arcade when we started out. Papyrus was next up to the chopping block.
A fairly typical Brazilian pop song about a kind of margarita-"Caipirinha"-makes its way to Japan and into the hands of legendary/infamous J-Pop group IOSYS (probably best known for "Cirno's Perfect Math Class") and becomes this

Maybe.
I dunno, I find it hard to hate fonts, but to each their own.

I feel bad for Chris Costello. Papyrus is, to me, a decent typeface on its own merits, and maybe it could have been redeemed if the notch-less version, "Costello", wound up becoming a full-fledged typeface.

I just took the alignment test at http://www.pa.msu.edu/~aaronson/alitest/aintro.html(note: there's one question on there asking what your opinion on homosexuality is. There's no telling or indication what the authors of this alignment quiz feel about the issue, and I have no idea how it scores as such.)
results:
You are 11.1% Good. You are 7.7% Chaotic.
Alignment: True Neutral
You do whatever seems like a good idea at the time. You don't feel any strong inclination towards good vs. evil or law vs. chaos. Some may say that you lack conviction, while others might admire you for your capability of remaining unbiased. You likely prefer good versus evil in society, since good people tend to make better neighbors and rulers, but you are not personally committed to upholding good in any abstract or universal way. You are the stereotypical “Balancer.” You act in a way that is natural to you without prejudice or compulsion. Examples of charactersand people who fit into the same alignment as you include Linus Torvalds, Dr. Strangelove, Scott Evil, Mr. Spock, and the nation of Switzerland.
so, I don't know if anyone here has actually known me this long. But back in....2008? 2009? I briefly tried to make this song the German Rickroll
and forced memes don't work so I stopped trying. But just recently someone felt the need to add it to the music memes page on TVTropes. For some reason. With a note that it's a forced meme. For some reason.
At least I assume that's where the link lead, the video's been removed.
Oh well. I still maintain that "Din Daa Daa" is a good song.

The shape of her body unusual
I'd forgotten how much "Meet Virginia" is "ITS: We rhyme words with themselves."

Remember back in the 50s when they'd record like Elvis singing YOU AIN'T NOTHIN BUT A HOUND DOG and then they'd turn the record over and reverse it and it was all NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP and people were all like, "That is actually the voice of Satan coming from that song."
You suddenly wonder why the voice acting is so hard to hear during the animated cutscenes.

Yeah, the worst thing about it is (according to the article that I got that pic from), that's standard protocol for heavy armor in...Tera, I believe it's called.

When I went to visit Mom and my niece for Christmas last year I found out via secondhand rage (the fourth hottest commodity on the internet after gleeful anticipation) that a great deal many people were very, very angry and Bieber's "steampunk" Christmas song thingy whatever; and that my niece was a big fan of his
Of course I congratulated her on her excellent choice in music

I can't decide what Katy Perry's most inane song is.

Do eet.
But yeah, I'll buy that as soon as I have the money.
Jeez I got so much stuff I wanna buy with my first paycheck....
I'm bad at this whole "saving money" thing.

^ That is a true statement.
Well wasn't Comic Sans meant for comic stuff?
But whatever, I think it's a good font.
Except that spider that only shows up for one comic and speaks in German, give him one of those heavy Nazi fonts. :B
Man.
The way music evolves is interesting.

Who's Scott Evil?
Other than "someone with a boss name"?

This is the complete armor list for females in that game. Nothing listed as 'plate' covers more than the average swimsuit.
