Before I even give my personal review I'm gonna sling a little shit at you guys who reviewed it before me. I am a little surprised at how much this album irritated people, I never really thought of it as a noise rock album. It's really just a noisy post-hardcore album. Noise rock is more along the lines of Lightning Bolt or Boredoms. mclusky really aren't any noisier than bands like Pixies or The Jesus Lizard. I understand how the Phallically Underdeveloped Sufjan Stevens Youth could make that mistake.

One of the random loading messages shown when you open Flickr's new Upload page is "reticulating splines".
This whole practice of random loading messages is bizarre, when you think about it. It's like the developers' way of admitting that the loading message you see isn't actually representative of what's going on behind the scenes, so they'd rather just say funny things. And the fact that the "reticulating splines" meme in particular dates back to 1993...it's just...strange how long this has been a thing.

Why would you find the airings of those as part of the show proper strange? When Dexter's Laboratory and Johnny Bravo spun off from World Premiere Toons, their shorts from that show were packaged as episodes of those shows, and the same happened with some of the Pinky and the Brain shorts on Animaniacs.

Do you know what I'm talking about? That one puzzle in Morrowind where you have to die underwater to open up a passageway where there's a Dremora who you have to give a silver claymore and then fight to the death to recreate the conditions of story?
Also, I was never able to actually accomplish anything. But I did manage to find a ton of Daedric artifacts completely by accident. I found Goldbrand and the Frost Blade of the Monarch to be almost useless.
I remember my first experience with a cave. The cave was called Ansi, and by the time I was done, I'd been hit with so many burden/damage strength spells that I literally had zero encumberance.
And I also remember getting to levitation items: The Boots of the Apostle and some staff. The Boots of the Apostle had a weaker effect, but I always used those because having the levitation effect for 120 seconds with the staff was annoying.

Music genres are a vague and largely arbitrary (or at least culturally defined) set of categories which serve no purpose beyond helping you identify bands which pertain to your interests.
