I recall you changed the theme initially because the current version of IJBM used the same one for the first week or so if its existence.

It always annoyed me that the original Vanilla-hosted one was never properly archived.
I mean, even if they didn't plan to actually close the site, they could have just archived every category.

Yeah, but the other 90% of the time it serves as nothing but a haven for spambots.

Yeah. If you remember, the original reason IJBM went to the Application system was that the CAPTCHA system was broken, but they kept it that way because it makes it easier to give spambots the boot.

...You know, I don't think I ever bothered with the sign-up screen on my fake Vanilla forum. I just made all the user accounts from the admin panel.
(Granted, I only made like 3 accounts total, I know you had more than that)

I don't dislike it, but I do like the other one better.

So I was driving down I-71 earllier, near the Fort Hayes interchange, where all that construction is going on.
They had several of the signs patched to reflect the various lane and ramp closures, but the ones that stood out to me were the I-71 pull-through signs, which said "I-71 SOUTH / Cincinnati / MAINTAIN 2 LANES".
At the time, the wording "MAINTAIN 2 LANES" sounded odd to me, though now that I've thought about it, I imagine it was because there were only two lanes open, so putting "LEFT 2 LANES" or "RIGHT 2 LANES" would have been nonsensical.
(In the past, ODOT has used "BOTH LANES" for such messages. They seem to be trying a different approach to construction sign-patches in general this time around, as the patches were in white-on-green ClearviewHwy instead of the normal black-on-orange Helvetica)

Ok, then, maybe a "before" photo will help. Look at the sign on the left:
Now that the construction's underway, there are only two lanes open beyond this exit, so the arrows on that sign (and the others like it in the background) were patched over with the message "MAINTAIN 2 LANES". I found that wording a bit strange, but I assume it's because having only two lanes total means that "LEFT 2 LANES" or "RIGHT 2 LANES" would be nonsensical.

This thread needs more gratuitous Interstate 70 photos:

I think I like this scheme more; it's a lot easier to distinguish links, for one.
Plus, it's futuristic! Or something.
Right now she is causing all the objects in my immediate vicinity to project their age as an aura of temporal depth.
Or am I just on acid again
...my mind has gone back to Discovery Communications again.
^Yes I did. And the old version uses this one, but it is supposed to be an archive.

You did? But I haven't done that schtick in

Maybe not long enough.
Hey, new theme!
I like it.

...it was still kinda catchy
