I do feel a little uncomfortable in environments that are too overtly (or stereotypically) masculine or feminine because I don't know how to behave in such places, but I don't think we're anywhere near there at the moment.
Remember back in the 50s when they'd record like Elvis singing YOU AIN'T NOTHIN BUT A HOUND DOG and then they'd turn the record over and reverse it and it was all NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP and people were all like, "That is actually the voice of Satan coming from that song."
I don't really see this forum as particularly masculine or feminine either. We seem to have a balance of both. It's probably not a perfect balance, but I think it's good enough.
So my computer has declared it fit to crash most of my systems. I have a single copy of Google Chrome open right now, and that is it.
Oh, and the Windows Updater, which popped up for some reason. I have somehow acquired a backlog of 25 critical updates despite the last time I updated being only a few weeks ago.
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
Sometimes I wear women's clothing, does that make me feminine
While Roosevelt was campaigning in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on October 14, 1912, a saloonkeeper named John Schrankshot him, but the bullet lodged in his chest only after penetrating his steel eyeglass case and passing through a thick (50 pages) single-folded copy of the speech he was carrying in his jacket. Roosevelt, as an experienced hunter and anatomist, correctly concluded that since he was not coughing blood, the bullet had not completely penetrated the chest wall to his lung, and so declined suggestions he go to the hospital immediately. Instead, he delivered his scheduled speech with blood seeping into his shirt. He spoke for 90 minutes. His opening comments to the gathered crowd were, "Ladies and gentlemen, I don't know whether you fully understand that I have just been shot; but it takes more than that to kill a Bull Moose." Afterwards, probes and x-ray showed that the bullet had traversed three inches (76 mm) of tissue and lodged in Roosevelt's chest muscle but did not penetrate the pleura, and it would be more dangerous to attempt to remove the bullet than to leave it in place. Roosevelt carried it with him for the rest of his life.

I know a few celebrities (relating to where and how I grew up) but unfortunately, Gunny Ermey isn't one I can honestly say that I'm actual buds with. He showed up at our base a lot for Mail Call and the fact that he's probably the biggest celebrity Marine besides Drew Carey. I've bumped into him a lot, enough to get a picture or two and smoke a cig with him back when I still enjoyed tobacco. But hey, I got to meet the legend and that's good enough for me

Mods, make the board pink.
LET ME ASK MY CHAINSAW GUN
Is it important?
I'm sorry, but no.
It isn't.

...What?
Don't make me bust out the pics of me in uniform chilling with R Lee Ermey
it doesn't get any more masculine than that
Mostly, though, I think we're not really too masculine or feminine. We're more Geek.
