I get that the artist was going for a left/right political analogy, but having "no left turn" and "right turn only" signs here makes no sense because there isn't a street to the left.

You know something I find amusing about this "Pinkie Pie goes cwazy and kills everyone" fad is that it started with a relatively bad fanfiction.
Let's face it, aside from the shock value of Pinkie Pie knifing and gutting Rainbow Dash, it was pretty bad in terms of writing.
Kind of like how cult-classics usually are just technically underwhelming at times.
The premise is very "This outa shock some bronies". I think people are a little too in love with the idea that they're corrupting something innocent, here. Though, I don't think Cupcakes would be nearly as popular without "Party of One" codifying the idea that Pinkie can actually snap.
