I don't have a preference one way or the other, myself.
Less facetiously, "Trash Heap of the Heapers' Hangout Forum" doesn't sound as good somehow. Not just because it's unfamiliar, but "Heap of the Heapers'" is a bit redundant, and assonating with the second word isn't as interesting as assonating with the first.
Hence why "pony heap of the pony tropes" is the best option.

Most recently it was a Hobby Lobby, though it's now vacant again.
I can't remember what it was when I was a child, but I remember a few of the adjacent businesses...There was a Discovery Zone, that Mother took me to a handful of times, and a candy store I think was called "Mister Bulky". And there was a Phar-Mor or SupeRx (I can't remember which) not far away.
