There was a time when I looked forward to '90s nostalgia because that decade changed animation for the better.

Now it is here, and it has manifested itself in a form I find repugnant. People who haven't seen Rocko's Modern Life in ages tittering at the innuendos and acting as if the show has no other traits worth acknowledging, for instance.
