Ah yes. An utterly bizarre dada comic produced by one mr. Ethan Forsythe.

It's a bit of an anomaly, as unlike a lot of webcomic authors, Ethan doesn't run forums or anything similar.

So, what we have to go on is the comic itself. It's sporadically updated (sometimes with fair frequency, and sometimes only a few times a year) for about a decade.

Here's an example comic:

some of them (like this one) can make some sense if you ignore the nonsensical "dialogue", others make no sense even without it.

Aside from the webcomic, we have two youtube videos which are simply dramatic readings of panels from the comic. This one and a similar, shorter one.

Aside from that, we have the comic's TVTropes page, it's short entry on Comixpedia, and its near nonexistant entry on the Webcomics List. All of which contain information of debatable canonity (the only thing we know for sure is that the main character is named Deco Bleu, we know more or less nothing else, and even Lun Che Box's name is fanon).

So it's quite an anomaly I think. I like it, though.

And is it just me, or has Deco gotten curvier over time? It used to be that she was kind of skinny; in that latest strip, she almost looks super-deformed.

I think it's more that she's gotten shorter and stubbier than anything.

More cartoony, I guess, is a good way to put it.

I saw a review that didn't seem to suggest it was swill. Considering how stupid cheap it is, I can give it try and always figure out how to cocktail it away in the future if it's terrible.

Maybe the Governor of Kentucky was taken out by an errant piston when some bootleggers attempted to fill their Gas tank with Early times.

I can only assume this is the sort of stuff that happens in Kentucky all the time.

So, SCIENCE! and curiosity got the better if me and I picked up Early Times as well as their take on Bourbon.

I took a shot of the whiskey fully expecting to find out that it's what hobos drink and they drink it out of a paper-bag because they're too assumed to let people know they drink early times. However, it was OK.

Worse than Evan Williams, but drinkable with just a slightly odd aftertaste.

The Bourbon was a bit of a surprise after the Whiskey. It was like a party in my mouth and only Hitler showed up with a game of Twister.

I'm not sure what compelled the company to spend more money making something that tasted worse than the flagship product, but there you go.

Okay, up to strip 9 and I already love what I am seeing here.

Would probably be better if I knew what Deco and the Chinese girl were saying. I know it might be a bit... "immersion-breaking" or whatever, but can anyone tell me if there's a mirror of this comic where the character dialogue is all in English? Nevermind, turns out they don't say anything meaningful anyway.

I haven't talked to Divine in a long time. The only thing that I know of him working on besides giving me a guest comic was some sort of RPG that he released on the Something Awful games forum -- but this was years ago. What he does now, I have no idea.

Trying to figure out where I left off.

I remember it being a strip with the bishonen-demon looking dude and a deluge of English text I was attempting to read because apparently I have an uncontrollable urge to read anything put in front of me (Like Sarah Palin, zing.)

Anyhow, skimming the first ones. I missed something on this the first time around:
