I won a local tournament of Yu-Gi-Oh once. I just like how the cards in the anime had these totally random effects that didn't even make sense, like your opponent not being able to see the cards you play, or being immune to rust, or being able to create infinite creatures.

Yeah, that's because no one wants to deal with the bizarre rules the anime version had.

Also the instance when one of the creatures somehow lost its attack strength in real time.

And the fact that they always had 5 cards in their hand no matter how many they played.
