There is a huge wave of spambots trying to come in - if you want someone to join HH, you'll have to invite them via email for now.

    It's been decided that the spambot wave is so massive that switching to invitation-only indefinitely is a good idea.

    You have to know their email address and send them an invite. There should be a "My Invitations" link on your profile page.
