    She actually helps a lot.

    She points out when you can interact with something, she z-targets, and she's a great feature for reminding you of what the hell to do when you haven't played for ages.

    Also, that voice clip isn't even that annoying.

    Even gave the game a negative review based on this.

    On my one and only full playthrough I didn't mind him

    I always got the feeling that Navi/Kaepora hate came from people who've played OOT a million times

    Actually, that's a good point.

    It doesn't help that OoT is a really easy game to memorize the process of playing through.

    First time through, the owl is ok because you don't know what he's going to say.

    If you're replaying the game that can be annoying though, because unskippable cutscenes in 2012 is terrible.
