it's a flawed but very interesting game about the experience of being a teenager

you are a girl named Lain Claes who travels through a fantasy world at the behest of a douchebag named Masked Man. It gets really weird later on, and also there's an extended homage to the godawful Slender.

nothing to do with Lain Iwakura, though a brief joke about SEL is made.
