Research is failing me at the moment but I'm tryign to figure out the proper name of the type of staff weapon Kyral Mekirel uses in Mobile Fighter G-Gundam. It's my charecters weapon of choice and I need ot get the proper name for it. You know like a staff with the blade inside like it is?

He's using a Monk's staff or  Khakkhara. They are just a staff, usually. Adding the blade inside is something they did for the anime. 

Basically, they're combining the Khakkhara with a cane-sword.

Like Monk staff + rings AND the hidden blade?

Well not exactly Identical It's a staff with a hidden blade a point on one end some osrt of carved symbnol ont he other end.

Cane-swords and the like exist in a number of forms. Monk canes with blades in them are rather unlikely, since the main point of a monk cane is to have the rings scare off animals so the monk doesn't step on them. The idea that monks beat the crap out of people with them is mostly fiction.

wait so even if it's a staff it still falls under the catagory of Swordstick/ Cane Sword?

I think the issue is that there doesn't seem to be term for a blade that is in a staff as opposed to a blade that is in a cane.

I should take mine to an expert to see if they know what it's technically called. I referred to it as a Swordstaff but that seems to be something completely different.
