    and i'll have to wear shoes. oh, those fucking shoes. sure, objectively, they might be fine shoes, but not for me. because every time i look at them what will i see? shoes. not what could have been. maybe i could have been a beachcomber. or a hat. not a shoe-wearer. and the worst part is it'll have been what i want. at no point could i have made a different situation for different goals.

    Jeans and loafers. Not the worst mismatch of clothing I've ever seen by a long shot, but a mismatch nonetheless.

    but i am pretty sure that they are like 2-3 inches too long and that those are some of the most horrific shoes i have ever seen in my entire life
