They're pretty different in tone.

I preferred Pepper Ann, but there are bits of As Told By Ginger that were pretty nice.

truth be told i never gave As Told By Ginger a chance; my brother saw it first and evidently disliked it a lot, and what little i saw i watched with his complaints at the forefront of my mind
