  • I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
Ooh, ITC Officina Slab on an aisle sign that's also burnt orange?

    Vote cast!
  • Touch the cow. Do it now.
second one seems pretty spiffy to me

    What store is #6?
  • You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
Aisle #6 or the sixth photo?

Aisle #6 is a Kroger store in the process of being remodeled; photo #6 is Meijer.
  • I was about to ask about the first #5 but then realized I could see Kroger store-brand in it.

You know, I'm just gonna go back and edit in the names of the stores.

    Kroger #1 please

CVS looks like an airport to me, for some reason

    Frutiger is why

Ah, because aisle 6 looked a bit like the (sadly) short-lived Giant of Maryland "Fresh ideas" signage.

I don't want to seem like I'm rigging the vote, but do people not like ITC Officina Slab?

    It's kind of textbook-y...that sign

The general textbook aesthetic is a guilty pleasure of mine

which one are you talking about

The one that looks like this:

  • Touch the cow. Do it now.
    I don't like that one.

I will tell you why: it's from Giant Eagle. I worked at a Giant Eagle and I hated that place. I hate going back there for any reason; it wounds my soul just to go inside. It was a time in my life that was darker than most, and that's saying something.

So yeah, whatever that font is, it's worse than Comic Sans

    anyway, carry on!
  • I like the first Kroger and the first Meijer
  • imagei will watch the heck outta this pumpkin patch
i was gonna vote for the Giant Eagle but then i saw Imi's post and felt bad about it

    so no vote
  • craft stores are so weird

    an entire stepping stones aisle.
  • I'd vote for the CVS one if it had said "TIME TRAVEL" as I read it and not "TRIAL & TRAVEL" as it actually does.

8ecause a pharmacy with a time travel aisle would 8e epic.
