    Read it. And then stop after The Waste Lands and make up your own ending. Or Wizard and Glass I guess, but I'm not a fan of that one.

    Given the nature of the story, any ending you make up could technically be canon.

    The general consensus seems to be that the ending is Childe Roland to the Dark Tower Came.

    I liked it up to the last book.

    And I liked the very ending of even that. Just not what came before.

    The overall villain turned out to be a shrieking old man who looks like santa clause and tosses grenades, and then gets killed by a magic eraser.

    The villain who's been hounding them through the series gets killed by the lamest upstart villain ever.

    Also Stephen King takes some time to yell at the guy who hit him with a van via metafiction.

    in the wizarding world lots of people have weird names like Albus or Minerva or Draco, so it's not a funny name

    and Severus was plainly his middle name

    not like you introduce yourself by your full name on a regular basis anyway
