So, Heapers, how is your love life?

Recently one of my little GFs that I have on the side recently discovered that I have a boyfriend, and she feels conflicted because she wants to be hers and hers alone, so I thought about dropping my boyfriend and being with her afterwards. It's strange because I am used to people exploding into fits of Mel Gibsonesque Insane with Anger outs, but she just looked at me with watery sad eyes and whimpered and I was like "awwwww".

It's pretty awesome. 

In part because I don't have to deal with situations like the above.

Seriously though, I find I do better as part of a long-term relationship then single and potentially having a number of short term relationships.

To each their own, though.

There is only one person I want to be in a long-term relationship with but I scared him away, and I am trying my hardest to earn his respect and affection again. Until it works out though, I am trying to ease my sadness by dating other people. Which doesn't work out because I end up with either xenomasculine borderline psychos, girls and guys that are creepier than I am, or short girls who do anything you tell them to and have no spine.

What started "I can't live without you bad" turned into "Please don't break up with me or I might kill myself bad"

I think I eventually drove him out of the state, and after that I managed to get some much needed perspective on exactly what I was doing that caused me to realize just how messed up I was, hence why I put dating on the side-bar.

I just wish it wasn't such a valid way to get attention. I wish people would, grow up and say "Shut up, I know and you know you would never kill yourself, so grow up and earn your affection like a normal person."

but people still have good reason to believe me, because I have proven I would go that far for petty things, so they don't doubt me about that, even though most of the time I am just lying about doing it, and I just want attention and affection.

...or I want to see them go out and stop me. For some reason, that makes my heart swell with joy when they break me out of my suicidal mindset.

Well I have. One day when I did feel legitimately suicidal, he already caught onto it before I even tried to announce anything. It was after school, and I felt like soaring (jumping off of a overpass or whatever) after my mother decided to go on an alcoholic rampage AGAIN, and I was at the end of my sanity rope and was willing to splatter myself across the road. I was walking over near the overpass, and trying to pull the chain overfence open (because that overpass is notoriously used for teenagers suicides and "friend's accidental falls") and he walked by, and I just looked at him.

He looked at me with those foggy grayish blue eyes and I could tell he knew what I was thinking of. I turned away and tried to pull the fence open when he slowly started walking away, and I got it open enough to where I could probably crawl through and climb up the fence to jump off, but when I reached my first hand out he was grabbing onto my shirt strap and tugging on it, quietly saying "Don't do this."

I burst out crying and just slumped down to the wall and kept telling him to fuck off and he didn't know what I was going through. He simply just sat there next to me, listening as I unleashed my big ass life story while crying, snot and tears running down my face as I embarassingly went into detail about everything. He wasn't disturbed once though, and just sat there and listened.

After that though, after unleashing my entire agonizing sob story he was sitting there just petting my head telling me that this wasn't a good enough reason to kill myself. That lifted up my heart a bit. After that he walked me to a Subway and said he was going to work, and I asked for his phone number, which he gave me.

I think I'd be able to handle myself in a relationship, but I'm not so great at attaining one. I've only ever had one girlfriend,  and that was four years ago and wasn't even that serious.
