    It is completely unintuitive.  There's no way you'd guess how to say it from the spelling alone.

    Actually, thinking about it, that's probably how someone with my accent would pronounce a name like that.

    After all, this is the part of the country where "for" becomes "fer", "piano" becomes "p'yanna", and W is a "dub-ya".
