But at the same time, iTunes is extremely flexible when it comes to CD burning, and I would rather use iTunes (or almost anything else) anyway.

I don't think I've burned a CD in a long, long time.

It helps that my optical drive is iffy.

When ripping CDs, though, I use CDex.  It's freeware, it's simple, and it's effective.

I don't have iTune or any Apple Product so I'm not sure why I would load it on any of my computers.
