I have a close real-life friend with Asperger's, and for the longest time, he was under the impression—as were several of my other friends_that I also had it and was in denial or something. He and the rest got over it a while ago, but it was honestly pretty annoying.

Which is not to say that I am 100% neurotypical: Apparently, I hit every single one of the DSM IV criteria for ADHD perfectly.

And, as you well know, I do obsess over strange things.
