I wonder how Chick expects people to take him seriously when he adds things like "Welcome to Hell: All Parties Cancelled Due To Fire." That sounds like something out of a Matt Groening cartoon!
As for the blood sugar thing, it just kinda made me pause and say "wait, what?". I honestly can't tell what he was getting at there.

Chick is a lot like Billy Graham in that regard. They're both focused entirely on salvation and will go to as many means as necessary to get the message across -- sometimes in the wrong way, like Chick's "Double Dungeons" and Graham's 90's book on Angels which was part of that loopy angels craze then.

This is more and more ridiculous the more I examine it...I mean, the "There's no God." "That's 'cause he's dead." is something I might expect to see in an online setting, but no one just busts that shit out on Thanksgiving.

I've had my fair share of family drama, but I've yet to see a Thanksgiving devoted to how much a family hates each other and, oh yeah, God, too.
Remember back in the 50s when they'd record like Elvis singing YOU AIN'T NOTHIN BUT A HOUND DOG and then they'd turn the record over and reverse it and it was all NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP and people were all like, "That is actually the voice of Satan coming from that song."
