The Star Wars sequels' logos are boring

I mean, I love Serif Gothic, but these logos feel kind of corporate and standardized and all I can think of is how they are apparently never going to digitize Serif Gothic's crazy ligatures and alternates. (Those ligatures were never part of the design officially, I don't think, but still, they are Quite Excellent.)

    Those crazy ligatures are awesome. It's like someone put Pure 1970s in the coffeemaker instead of coffee grounds.
