Watched the first three episodes and I’m still in awe at how distinctively Ezra Koenig the whole thing is
I feel like I want Kaz and Helena to sort of understand each others’ points of view a little more as the show progresses; while Kaz’s obliviously high society point of view can be fun to laugh at, it feels like the type of thing that might become one-note after a while (ditto with Helena’s hikikomori thing, which makes sense for her character but doesn’t exactly make for a strong narrative hook).
Still, I like the show and how it seems to know exactly how vapid the lifestyle of its main characters can be, and I find myself really impressed by the casting choices thus far (highlights for me have included Jude Law as Kaz’s mecha-butler Charles and Stephen Fry as a prep school headmaster in the third episode)
